The story of Trattoria La Rustica began when my father Eugenio, with the help of my mother Renza, decided to open a restaurant, a trattoria, reminiscent of the countryside homes in Ravenna. It was 1989 when Trattoria La Rustica opened its doors for the first time. My parents' idea was to offer the flavours and atmosphere of the countryside right in the city. After just over 20 years at our historic location on Via Alberoni, we moved a few years ago to the heart of Ravenna, on Via Massimo D'Azeglio. We changed the city location and our appearance, but not our original spirit. The atmosphere remained the same, as did the dishes of regional cuisine, sometimes revisited with innovation and creativity.
We continue to choose the best products, always fresh and preferably local. We continue to make many of the products: handmade fresh pasta, as well as piadine, sandwiches, and our tasty desserts.
